Wireframe
To start developing the interface, the next step, we created a wireframe. We focused on highlighting the key elements while keeping in mind customization and user-friendliness. One outcome of this attention to customization was the Package Details feature, highlighted in the last three screens below, which enables the user to review their package and change any detail to their preference.
User Interface
The visual design we developed for the product is on-brand with Virgin Atlantic’s current branding with an added touch. We wanted to avoid straying far from the parent branding to avoid confusion from the users. The purple and red colour choices are seen through Virgin Atlantics other subsidiaries but yet to be seen in their airlines, we decided it was the right choice to merge the branding gap.
Augment Reality
The tourism industry is changing due to the introduction of Augmented Reality technology. With that; we included a special interactive feature called Pocket Guide that provides on-demand navigation and information assistance. For businesses, the Pocket Guide gives the opportunity to be a partner with Virgin Atlantic and promote their businesses on the Pack and Go platform.
